Artful Living Coaching, Living Life by Design - Guiding You to Your Masterpiece
In a noisy, fast-moving world, we often forget how to slow down and truly listen—to our bodies, to the Earth, and to our own inner voice. The Sacred Forest Immersion is a 4.5-mile, spirit-led day retreat into the wild beauty of Cleveland National Forest, where nature becomes the guide, the teacher, and the medicine.
Inspired by Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), this experience is rooted in mindfulness, presence, and healing. It’s not about pushing your body—it’s about moving with intention, creating space for release, and allowing the natural world to support your transformation.
We’ll meet at The Rising Phoenix Sanctuary and caravan together to the trailhead off the South Main Divide. Once there, we’ll journey through a 4.5-mile loop of mostly forested terrain, with stretches that open into wide, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. We’ll move at a gentle, meditative pace—unhurried and fully present.
Throughout the hike, you’ll be guided through:
A grounding meditation to begin the day—the most important meditation of all, designed to reconnect you with your body, the Earth, and your energy. This foundational practice sets the tone for everything that follows.
Breathwork and grounding techniques to calm the nervous system
Silent walking and mindful awareness to connect with the land and your body
Emotional frequency clearing and gentle meridian-based techniques to support emotional release and energetic flow
Optional light journaling at designated reflection points
Please bring a small notebook and pen. It’s common for old emotions, memories, or physical sensations to surface during this kind of work. Journaling can be a powerful way to process, integrate, and honor what comes through.
Intentional time in nature—combined with conscious movement and energy clearing—can:
Lower stress levels and ease emotional overwhelm
Strengthen the immune system and boost mental clarity
Help release stored emotions and rewire limiting patterns
Restore a deeper sense of grounding, peace, and purpose
More than anything, the forest invites you to come back to your natural rhythm. No rush. No noise. Just space to breathe, feel, and reconnect.
You don’t need to be a hiker, or even feel “spiritual.” All you need is a willingness to show up, be present, and let the Earth hold you for a while.
Full details on what to bring, what to wear, and where we’ll meet will be shared upon registration.
