Artful Living Coaching, Living Life by Design - Guiding You to Your Masterpiece
Description:
Join us for a transformational 10.4-mile roundtrip hike to the summit of Sitton Peak in the majestic Santa Ana Mountains. This one-day experience—woven with earthing, breathwork, EFT tapping, meditation, and mindful movement—offers a sacred opportunity to reconnect with yourself and the natural world. Held within the wild beauty of the Cleveland National Forest, this mindful pilgrimage is designed for those seeking clarity, peace, and a deeper sense of presence.
⚠️ Please note: This is not a beginner-level hike. The trail to Sitton Peak includes steep, rocky sections that require a moderate to high level of fitness and stamina. Only 15 participants are allowed, in accordance with federal wilderness regulations.
Morning: Mindful Start & Earthing
Sunrise Gathering:
We'll begin early, ideally at sunrise. A short session of gentle stretching and deep breathing will help you ground into your body and prepare for the journey ahead.
Earthing Practice:
Connect barefoot (if you wish) to the earth with a 10–15 minute grounding practice. Just be still and allow nature to speak.
Guided Meditation:
Center your energy and set an intention for your day with a short grounding meditation.
Mid-Morning: EFT Tapping & Trail Integration
Begin the Journey:
As we head out on the trail, we’ll pause along the way for EFT tapping at scenic or energetically potent spots—clearing stagnant energy and calling in intention.
Mindful Movement:
Tune into your body, your steps, and the environment. Let the trail be your meditation.
Lunchtime: Breathing & Mindful Eating
Peaceful Lunch Spot:
We’ll find a quiet, beautiful location to rest and enjoy a light lunch.
Breath Awareness Practice:
Calm your nervous system with conscious breathing before eating.
Mindful Eating:
Savor each bite with gratitude and full awareness—no rushing, no distractions.
Afternoon: Continued Hiking & Reflection
Leisurely Ascent to the Summit:
The trail becomes more challenging as we near the top—hiking poles are highly recommended for this section. We'll go slowly and support each other along the way.
Silent Reflection:
Allow space for your thoughts and feelings to arise as you walk. Nature has a way of revealing what’s ready to be seen.
Late Afternoon: Meditation & Gratitude Practice
Summit Stillness:
At the peak, we’ll drop into a deeper meditation to reflect, release, and restore.
Gratitude Circle:
We’ll end this sacred time with a simple gratitude practice—acknowledging the inner and outer beauty of the day.
Evening: Gentle Transition Home
Descent & Integration:
We’ll make our way back down the mountain, carrying the peace of the day with us. Once home, consider a warm bath or journaling session to further integrate the experience.
Plenty of water (at least 2–3 liters)
A nourishing lunch and high-protein snacks
Hiking poles (strongly recommended for final ascent)
Sunscreen and a hat
Comfortable, broken-in hiking shoes
Layered clothing for changing temps
A small backpack
A journal (optional but encouraged)
A sacred item (optional)—a small crystal, photo, prayer, or token for reflection
An open heart and willingness to be present
Group Size is Limited: Only 15 participants allowed by federal wilderness regulation.
Fitness Requirement: This is an intermediate to advanced hike. Participants should be in good physical condition and comfortable with elevation gain and longer distances.
Leave No Trace: Please be mindful stewards of the land. Whatever you bring in, take out.
Digital Detox: Disconnect from your devices and immerse fully in this sacred experience.
Each participant will be asked to submit a personal intention prior to the day of our hike. Your intention will act as a guiding light throughout your journey—something to return to in moments of challenge, beauty, and stillness. It sets the tone for your inner pilgrimage as much as the outer one.
Before we head off on the trail, we’ll hold space to acknowledge each person’s intention in a short grounding ceremony.
Here are some examples of intentions for this sacred walk:
To release old energy and welcome new beginnings
To remember who I am and why I’m here
To deepen my trust in life and divine timing
To open my heart to love and connection
To walk with Spirit and receive divine guidance
To restore my sense of peace and inner calm
To grieve and heal in a loving container
To align with my highest path
To clear fear and reclaim my power
To simply be present, open, and grateful
Let your intention come from the truth of your heart. It doesn’t need to be profound—just honest. You'll be invited to revisit this intention throughout the hike, especially during our meditations, tapping practices, and at the summit.
Combining the power of nature with holistic practices, this pilgrimage is an invitation to deepen your inner journey as you move through sacred land.
